  6. I don't currently have an Intel machine, but am thinking of getting a
  7. little 486 notebook to keep me from getting bored while out of town :)
  8. I'm probably gonna have to run DOS and Windoze on it, but I'd like to
  9. run Unix on it too if it'd work well.

  11. So... what I'm wondering is will NetBSD run on a notebook? (I'm
  12. looking at the Winbook XP, 486DX4-75, 16MB RAM, 340, maybe 520MB hard
  13. disk, dual scan color display) I can't think of any reason why it
  14. wouldn't, but will I be able to use the internal faxmodem or PCMCIA
  15. Ethernet cards? Also, I suppose this is more of an XFree86 question
  16. than NetBSD question, but will I be able to run X and use the little
  17. ThinkPad-style mini-joystick-ish pointing device? (I can get a
  18. built-in trackball instead if it makes a difference) The ads say it
  19. uses the Western Digital Rocketchip graphics accelerator.

  22. run Unix, maybe I can run OS/2 or something... :)
